Nature's Perspective

Nature's Perspective

The inspiration for this quilt came while driving through the Wisconsin farmlands at dusk. It felt like we were flying, weightless. I thought the fields could billow right up like a big quilt were it not for the barns and trees anchoring them in place, like the ties at the corners of quilt blocks. The farms are the traditional patterns "Corn and Beans" and "Prairie Queen"; the sky is half a "Sunburst".
